Find a Fourth started the way a lot of good ideas do. Around family, golf, and trying to make plans actually happen.

If we’re being honest, the original founder is probably Fran Cash. She raised four boys, and when you have four sons, you’ve always got a fourth.

Find a Fourth was officially launched by two of those boys, brothers Matt and Josh Wilkinson. They grew up playing golf together and never had trouble filling a tee time. There was always another brother ready to play.

Life looks a little different now. Josh and Matt are dads with young kids, longtime employees at MegaCorp Logistics in Wilmington, North Carolina, and like a lot of people, they’ve learned that finding time to golf and people to golf with isn’t always easy.

They built Find a Fourth to change that. Not to overcomplicate golf, but to make it easier to connect with other golfers in the Wilmington community, especially other dads who want to get out for a round and still make it home for dinner.

Find a Fourth is about real people, real tee times, and making the game more social and accessible.

Josh and Matt are endlessly supported by their wives, Madison and Lindsay, and of course by Fran, who’s been helping her boys find a fourth from the very beginning.
